Shinydocs Pro 3.0.1 (October 2023)

The complete contents of the release include both Shinydocs Pro 3.0.1 (including Cognitive Suite CLI) as well as Shinydocs Enterprise Search 1.11.2.

What’s New?

Shinydocs Pro 3.0.1 includes the following key features:

Usability Improvements: A number of usability improvements have been introduced. These include:
- Shinydocs Pro will now display a video describing the tasks being performed when they are run for the first time
- When selecting the search button, the search now opens in a new tab
- Users can now select the dataset title on the overview page in order to view the details of the dataset
- The placement of the lists in the File Information dashboard has been moved to a more user-friendly location
- Dates and times in the Advanced Options page now show relative times in plain language.

OpenSearch Improvements: The Shinydocs Command Line Interface (CLI) will now run with OpenSearch enabled by default. In addition, the logging location for OpenSearch dashboards has been changed to become more consistent with other parts of Shinydocs Pro.

Data Processing Improvements: The number of steps associated with data processing has been consolidated significantly, resulting in greater efficiency in Shinydocs Pro.

Fixed an issue which could result in OpenSearch not re-starting correctly after a failure
Fixed an issue which could result in a failure when Shinydocs Pro encounters extremely large CSV files
Improved the installer so that it now correctly removes all relevant files during an uninstall procedure
Introduced a number of other fixes and improvements to address issues with overall responsiveness
