Offline mode failed when the Shinydrive Client was configured to use OpenText Directory Services (OTDS)


The Shinydrive Client was not connecting and mounting drives when OTDS was configured and users started their machines without a network connection. This meant that offline folders and files became inaccessible if users exited or disconnected from the Shinydrive Client and attempted to reconnect.

Now, with OTDS configured, the Shinydrive Client can connect and mount drives even if there is no network connection. Users working in offline mode have access to their drives and offline files. Users can exit and reconnect, maintaining access to their offline files. When users' machines come back online, the OTDS window displays, prompting them to re-enter their credentials.
