Shinydrive Server + Client February 2022/2.5.1.3

Product: Shinydrive Server

Version: 2.5.1.3

Date: February 8, 2022

  • Easier Update Process: As of Shinydrive 2.5.1.3, updates to Shinydrive Server no longer require the re-creation of the configuration files. In previous versions of Shinydrive Server, updates required you to delete the contents of your existing configuration for the Profiles, Drives and Content Sources from the Shinydrive Admin panel, stored in \usr\local\shinydrive. This is no longer necessary.

  • Documentum Required Attributes: When adding a document through either drag and drop or the right click menu, you will now be prompted to fill out all required attribute fields prior to uploading the document(s) into Documentum. (Ref: SD-4034)

  • Admin Registry Setting: Shinydrive now offers a centralized location for registry settings under the Advance Settings field within Profiles. These settings include the Appearance, Enabling Auto-Reservation for the Office Plug-in, Client Cache settings, Connectivity, and more. This also provides the ability to push the settings from the server directly. Upon making changes any existing registry settings will be overwritten the next time you log in. (Ref: SD-3072, SD-3088)

  • Authentication Settings: Content Server Authentication settings have been moved from the Profile Advance Settings menu to the Drive Advance Settings within the Admin Panel. (Ref: SD-4115, SD-3994)

  • Log4J: Shinydrive is now utilizing Log4J Version 2.17.1 to mitigate any vulnerabilities from previous versions of this software. (Ref: SD-4118)
