Shinydrive Windows Client June 2020/1.5.3.2 Release Notes

Product: Shinydrive Windows Client

Version: 1.5.3.2

Date: June 9, 2020

  • Support for Huge Content Server Installations: We have made improvements to how pointers to Content Server Node IDs are passed internally to account for very large Node IDs (those larger than a Long Integer field). Such large Node IDs are common in huge Content Server installations. (Ref: SD-3978)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where when using Text Search via the Shinydrive Outlook pane, if the user is not an Admin on their PC, they would get an Unauthorized Access Exception error. (Ref: SD-3904)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue were after using Reserve and Edit, a subsequent Edit on the same document (without a Reserve) would incorrectly also Reserve it. (Ref: SD-3925)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue with Shinydrive for Documentum, where if the version scheme was set to “Same”, editing a file down to a smaller size did not reflect the size change in Shinydrive. (Ref: SD-3926)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue with Shinydrive for Documentum, where if 2 different users were editing a linked Excel file, if one user had not first navigated into the subdirectory that contained the linked file, that user couldn’t open the file. (Ref: SD-3927)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where cached data could be overwritten when a huge copy (over 1/2 GB of files) was involved. (Ref: SD-3937)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where if the clear cache setting was set to 999, the drive would not mount. (Ref: SD-3939)
