  • Crawl Box: The Cognitive Toolkit now ships with a tool for crawling Box. Supports the crawling of folders and documents. See –help for CrawlBox for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-525)

  • Add Hash From Box: The Cognitive Toolkit now ships with a tool for calculating the hash for documents in Box. See –help for AddHashFromBox for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-526)

  • Dispose In Box: The Cognitive Toolkit now ships with a tool for disposing of documents in Box. See –help for DisposeInBox for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-528)

  • Permission Mapping Support for Content Server Migration: The Cognitive Toolkit now supports the mapping of File System Permissions to Content Server Permissions during migrations. See –help for the –map-permissions option under MigrateToContentServer for options. (Ref: CT-517)

  • RM Classification Mapping Support for Content Server Migration: The Cognitive Toolkit now supports the mapping of Shinydocs Index tag values to Content Server RM Classifications. See –help for the –records-management-classification option under MigrateToContentServer for options. (Ref: CT-520)

  • Multi-value Attribute Support for Content Server Migration: The Cognitive Toolkit now supports multi-value attributes in Content Server when doing migrations and mapping these into Content Server. For tools that migrate into Content Server (e.g.: MigrateToContentServer), see –help for –metadata-mapping for details. (Ref: CT-712)

  • Improvements to Hashing and Text Extraction in Content Server: We made improvements to not require Tomcat when doing Hashing and Text Extraction of documents that are located in Content Server. (Ref: CT-717)

  • Update Content Server Metadata: The Cognitive Toolkit now includes a tool for setting Content Server metadata attributes, based in values in the Shinydocs Index. Content Server Category Attributes can be set, as can Content Server Classification values, as can Content Server RM Classification values. See –UpdateContentServerMetadata for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-533)

  • Change File System Permissions (Beta): The Cognitive Toolkit now ships with 3 new tools for setting file system permissions. Note that this is a Beta feature and as such these tools should be used to confirm that they work in your environment. For each of these tools, see –help for available parameters and options (Ref: CT-337)

    • CacheFileSystemPermissions

    • SetFileSystemPermissions

    • RestoreFileSystemPermissions

  • Low Disk Detection: When a Cognitive Toolkit crawl is initiated, we now check to see if more than 75% of the disk is full and if so, provide the user with a warning message. (Ref: CT-238)

  • Import Data from a SQL Database: The Cognitive Toolkit now includes a tool for importing data into the Shinydocs Index from a SQL database. See –help for AddFromSqlDatabase for available parameters and options. Note that this tool only supports importing data from an Oracle database. (Ref: CT-430)

  • Improvement to Image Data Handling: We’ve improved how image data is stored in the Shinydocs Index so that it can be used for plotting information on a map with the Shinydocs Visualizer. See –help for AddImageData for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-523)

  • Add Hash and Extracted Text from Exchange Attachments: The Cognitive Toolkit now ships with a tool for both calculating the hash and extracting the full text from Exchange email attachments. See –help for AddHashAndExtractedTextFromExchange for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-145, CT-328)

  • Export From Index: The Cognitive Toolkit now ships with a tool for exporting selected Index fields (based on a query) to a CSV file. See –help for ExportFromIndex for available parameters and options. (Ref: CT-999)

  • Improved Shinydocs Visualizations: Various improvements to the existing Dashboards and Visualizations. Most were renamed and had standard Filters added (which can easily be turned on and off) and there are now dashboards for ROT, Disposed Files (both file shares and Box), Migration and the Progress Dashboard has been updated. (Ref: CT-704)

  • Improved Error Messages: Implemented better error messages for various error types (incorrect source-id when adding breadcrumbs from Content Server, missing port when removing an index, etc.) (Ref: CT-676, CT-694, CT-725, CT-793)

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue, where when migrating to Content Server and the “–large-file-threshold” is exceeded (i.e. the REST client is used to stream the file directly to Content Server), if TKL classifications and/or required attributes are involved, these may not have been set properly. (Ref: CT-428)
