File Versioning

Versions

Shinydrive ensures that everyone is using the most up-to-date version of a file on your ECM network. If an older version of a file is needed, you can easily go back and view these versions, which are listed from the Content Server. Using Shinydrive you can easily "promote" an older version to be the newest one instead.

View Versions

1. From Windows Explorer, right-click on a file to pop up the context menu

2. Select Records Management then Versions

A list of versions for the selected file appears.

Promote an Older Version

1. From Windows Explorer, right-click on a file to pop up the context menu

2. Select Records Management then Versions

3. Click the Promote button of an older version
