Managing Unsuccessful Deletes

Shinydrive manages a Deleted Items list, which shows any objects that a user or an application was unsuccessful at deleting.

The Deleted Items option will only appear in the context menu if there are items that failed to delete.

A user can re-attempt to delete the object using the following steps:

  1. Right-click on the file to pop up the context menu

  2. Select Records Management then Deleted Items

  3. Re-try the Delete action

The Deleted Items list does not function like a Recycle Bin. Items that have been successfully deleted are not shown in the Deleted Items list.
