Preventing Users from Modifying Profiles and Server Names

To help prevent any accidental changes during login, you can prevent users from modifying their profile and server name.

1. Navigate to the Drives & Profiles section within the Admin Portal 

2. Select the appropriate Profile and press Advance Settings

3. Under Appearance, select which field you'd like to prevent users from changing (Profile, Server URL, or both)

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and select Done

5. Within the Profile section press Save
   

Even though these registry keys are named “hide”, users will still see these values. However, users cannot modify the keys once they are set. 

You will need to fully exit and start the Shinydrive Client application for these changes to take effect.
