Working with the Allowed and Forbidden Lists
This feature only appears in the Windows Explorer context menu if it has been enabled by your administrator.
When new files are accessed with Shinydrive they are transparently either moved to the Content Server or kept locally on the PC. Which of these happens is governed by Allowed and Forbidden lists, managed by your administrator and based on the file type. When an Allowed file is accessed, it is moved to the Content Server unless it is already there. When a Forbidden file (for example, a temporary file) is accessed, it is not moved to the Content Server.
By default, the Allowed and Forbidden lists are fixed by your administrator, but you can update them when encountering a new file type.
When a new file is accessed and is not found on either the Allowed or Forbidden lists, an Unknown File Extension Found! popup appears. One of four options can be selected

Do not add files of this type to Shinydrive | The file type of the accessed file is added to the Forbidden list |
Make no changes | The file type of the accessed file is blocked for the remainder of the active session. The user will be challenged again for the file type of the accessed file after disconnecting and reconnecting to Shinydrive. |
Add only this single file | The file type of the accessed file is blocked but the file is not. This is a good option for a file type that is infrequently accessed and that should be blocked by default. |
If you try to upload a file that is on the Forbidden list a warning icon overlay appears on the file.
