Shinydrive Icon Overlays Do Not Display on Windows 11

Prerequisites

Shinydrive and the Shinydrive Office Add-in are installed on a Windows 11 machine.

Problem

A user opens an Office file from a drive in Shinydrive. A confirmation popup displays asking the user if they want to reserve the file. When the user confirms, a Shinydrive icon overlay should display on the file in the Explorer view, indicating it is reserved. Conversely, when a user closes a file and confirms they want to unreserve it, the Shinydrive icon overlay indicating it is not reserved should display. No Shinydrive icon overlays are displayed.

Cause

OneDrive icons override Shinydrive icons.

Solution

Manually reserve and unreserve documents by right-clicking the item to bring up the context menu and then selecting the appropriate menu item.
