Using the Shinydrive Outlook Add-in

If the Shinydrive Outlook Add-in is enabled by your administrator, you can drag and drop files from mounted drives to emails as attachments.

When the Shinydrive Outlook Add-in is enabled, users will see a right-side Shinydrive panel in Outlook that displays mounted drives, linked to the Content Server.

Search for document within a mounted drive

  1. In Outlook, create a new message

  2. On the right side, locate the Shinydrive panel

  3. Drill down into a drive and folders by clicking the + icon

  4. Locate the file you wish to attach to an email

  5. Drag and drop the file into an open email draft

Users can also search Shinydrive and apply filters.
