Migrating your first project

To migrate your first project, do the following:

  1. Do one of the following:

    1. If the Welcome to Migration Tool popup is displayed (first use), click Continue

    2. If the popup is not displayed, click Start new migration

  2. Do one of the following:

    1. Click Browse to the right of the Project field and select the folder or file that you wish to migrate

    2. Paste the path of the folder or file that you wish to migrate into the Project field

  3. Select one of the following:

    1. Migrate only folder contents – Files are migrated into the root of the specified Migration file path

    2. Create selected folder and migrate the contents – Files are migrated to a new child folder with the same name

  4. If applicable, modify the default Name of migration

  5. Click Continue

  6. Click Browse to the right of the Migration file path field and select the new destination where the folder or file should be migrated

  7. Click Continue

  8. Review the Name of migration, Project, Migration file path, Size of migration, and Estimated time to complete details, and then click Start Migration to initiate the migration process

    The Migrations page is displayed and the Status column for the initiated migration is Crawling.

  9. Click the Queue icon to quickly view the current status of any active or queued migrations
    You can click Pause at any time to pause active migrations, and then click Resume to resume the migrations.
    Note: It will take a moment for the Pause action to complete, indicated by a spinning circle within the Pause button. Upon clicking Resume, the paused migrations are resumed in the order they were created. You can also cancel a paused or in progress migration by clicking the X icon and then selecting Remove.

    Note: The number of currently active migrations is displayed in a red circle to the right of the queue field.
    You can also select Queued from the Status dropdown to determine which migrations are currently queued.

  10. Click the name of the migration displayed in the Project name column to review the Migration details page for your project
