Search Administration - Public Schema Types

Administrators can configure one or more schematypes for documents that do not require permission checks to be done by Enterprise Search.  

1. Open the Enterprise Search Administration site 

2. Select Public schematypes from the left side menu, under Configure 

3. Click + Add schematype 

4. Enter the name of the schema 
   Note: the name of the schema must correspond to a value of the schemaType field in your index 

5. Save changes 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Permission checks are not performed against public schematypes.
