Shinydocs Pro ships with 49 rule files for finding redundant, obsolete and trivial (ROT) content. Some rules are split across several files (for example, Game has 10); the rule list under Settings > Analysis > ROT shows each file. A matched document gets the rule's tag value in rot_obsolete, rot_redundant or rot_trivial.
Dates are compared with the day the rule runs. Most rules use the last modified date; Temporary file uses the created date.

Keep a file out of ROT detection
A file tagged Exclude-from-ROT-detection with the value True is skipped by the ROT rules, and its existing ROT tags are removed. In the Catalog, select the files, choose Tag and pick Exclude-from-ROT-detection. Tagging in the Catalog needs the Tagging in Catalog feature flag.
To add your own rules, see Adding custom PII and ROT rules to Shinydocs Pro Control Center. For the difference between redundant files and duplicates, see What is the difference between a Duplicate and a Redundant file.
